translation of closed captions
I have multiple Storyline 360 courses that were created in English and now need to be translated into French. The translation of text feature works very well however the voice translation feature of the narration is cringeworthy at best. I have looked at the new AI translation bots and they are excellent however since I do not have that feature as yet it has been decided to use closed captions over the English narration. Not optimum but better than the awkward existing voice translation.
Here's my problem. I have created the closed captions for each slide, inserted the English text into each caption that corresponds to the each sound wave and now I have to copy and paste each phrase into the WORD document, translate it into French then copy and paste the translation version back into the Storyline project.
Here's my question: Is there an easier way of doing this? It is very time consuming and adding many hours to the cost to my customer.
The translation feature successfully translated everything including the text on the slides but did not translate the closed captions which would have been the ideal.
