Hi. I am not sure if what I am asking is possible. The user is supposed to type the number 68 into an input box. Once they type that number, I want a red lined shape to appear around another area of the screen , but only if 68 has been typed. I don't want the user to have to click anywhere once the 68 has been typed. As soon as the 8 is typed, the other rectangle shape should appear. Thanks.35Views0likes8CommentsFixed video loop issue creates new issue
Hello, I am looking for a work around for what I believe is an issue created from fixing the video loop issue. What is happening is now video reverts back to the first frame when completed. In the past, video ended on the last frame and would stay there. We have built many activities leveraging this functionality. for example, we have a video complete with a question prompt within the video and then a layer pops up with question. Now when the video ends it loops back to the first frame and we experience a really awkward jump when played from a trigger. Incidentally we don't experience this when the video auto plays, but for ADA reasons we don't auto play. I have tried stopping the video via a timeline trigger prior to the end and the revert to first frame is still an issue so that isn't a possible solution. Two questions, is this fallout from the video loop update and is there a work around to make video end and stay on the last frame? Hi all, In Storyline, is it possible for a quiz attempt to be marked as successful based on the following conditions and the Quiz marked as passed/failed accordingly and that sent to the the LMS? Pass mark achieved (80%). And Question 'A' correct And Question 'B' correct Essentially, if there was an automatic/default "Quiz passed" variable that gets set based on the score for the quiz I'd almost want to adjust it to false if the conditions above are not met. Creating a results slide that shows the pass or fail layer based on the above conditions is easy, but it's making sure that the result of "Pass" or "Fail" is what gets sent to the LMS. Currently I cannot see a anything remotely like a "Quiz Pass" variable even when looking in Built-In through the Variables window. I can see a trigger for "Submit resultsQuiz Results when timeline starts" but can't find a way to force change the "Quiz Results" portion based on the above conditions. Does this mean that submitting the fail layer of the quiz results slide automatically means a "Fail" is being passed over to the LMS when submitting the results using the trigger? Any advice would be helpful.15Views0likes0CommentsHelp with TTS SSML Phoneme Tags
Hello. I'm not the strongest programmer so I would appreciate any assistance in creating TTS SSML Phoneme Tags to correctly pronounce my company's name in Articulate Storyline. Company name: "Docuvera" Pronunciation: rhymes with "Primavara" Here is what I have tried but it still sounds wrong. <speak> Docuv<phoneme alphabet="ipa" ph="æ"></phoneme>ra </speak> Thanks so much to anyone who can help!12Views0likes1CommentFeedback Layer Error in Storyline 360 Screen Recording Software Simulation
Hi everyone, I'm building out an Excel simulation training for internal folks. Everything looks great, except for the feedback layers. I generally use the "Accessible" layout and our branding colors for feedback. However, when I review the course, I'm seeing only white text and no formatting on the feedback layer (e.g., no background, no graphics, no alignment) (see attachment). I tried creating a custom feedback template, but the same error occurs. I looked at the design features, but the colors/branding look fine. I've had some experience with screen recordings/simulations, but haven't encountered this yet. Any help or advice would be appreciated - this seems like a simple fix, but I'm stumped. Thanks in advance!! -ArynSolved20Views0likes2CommentsIssue with score sent to LMS - Storyline 360
I included a final assessment at the end of a module on Storyline 360. It seems there is a discrepancy between the score displayed in the module (results slide) and the score sent to our LMS (Successfactor). For example, if you obtain a score of 88% on the results slide, the score that appears in the LMS is 71%. If you obtain the score of 82%, the score that appears is 65%. I have checked the Storyline file but I didn't find the issue. Could you please help me? I have attached the file below. Hello. I've seen previous discussions of non-working hover states for hyperlinked text, one of which was apparently solved by a Storyline update a couple years ago. I've got a list of links at the bottom of a scrolling text field, and one of them stubbornly refuses to show its hover state--the second one in the list. The rest of the hyperlinks work fine. I deleted the bullet and retyped the text, then applied the hyperlink but that didn't work. So I deleted the bullet and the one above it, retyped both, applied hyperlinks and the hover works on the first item but not the second. The first bullet appears to have had its link cut in half. I don't understand how that happened, but I can live with it since both halves are linked to the same web page. Is there a way to get at the code behind the scenes to see what's going on?35Views0likes3CommentsZooming in shows the wrong image
When I zoom in on a screen capture simulation in story line it does it correctly until it stops(zoomed in), then it shows the screen that was before the screen I am on. Almost like when it is zoomed it flips to a different picture then when it starts to zoom back out, it flips back. Can I fix this? Any ideas?18Views0likes6Comments
