Publishing Storyline with the progress bar and closed captions

    Hi, Fiona!

    I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 73, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

    One of the new features we've included is: 

    Boost video accessibility by including closed captions when publishing projects as MP4 video files.

    To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Thanks for reaching out, and I"m happy to dig into these questions:

Can you update Storyline to add the ability to chose if we wish to generate the closed captions as one large file when we publish to video?

At this time, closed captions won't be included when you publish Storyline 360 content to a single video file. However, you're not the first to bring this up, and we are tracking these requests. I'll be sure to add you to the links of folks on the report and jump back in here when there's any news!

Can you update Storyline to give us the option to publish with slide timelines, or as a scene timeline?

I'm not sure I fully understand this question, but it seems like you'd only like to enable the seekbar for certain slides, correct? While you can adjust the Player Properties on a global setting, you can also edit the Slide Properties to customize specific slides with the seekbar.

Hello,

What I mean is; sometimes we create training material that is spread across a few slides, and then publish it as a scene. Some of the learners want to jump back the content to see previous information. 

Having each slide have its own timeline means they can't jump back to a previous slide and having the menu available or the prev/next buttons will confuse the learners.

This is why I was asking for a scene timeline instead of individual slides.
