Hindi PDF

Hi,

I've translated a course into Hindi, which seems to work OK, but now I can't export to a PDF to have a print storyboard for regulatory reasons.

Anybody else faced this issue? Any ideas??

David

  • I just get a bunch of invalid character boxes. I've attached a screenshot of the PDF and the menu screen from the same computer.

The font is Open Sans which is usually fine with Hindi. Rise seems to have worked fine with other more exotic character sets such as Japanese, Chinese Han and Russian.

      Hi David,

We also create a PDF for each of our courses and I've never seen this happen.

Does this occur every time you export the Hindi course to PDF?

  • Hi Karl,

Yep. Happens every time, just with this one language. Have you used Hindi?

Hi David! Kindly open a case with us here so that one of our technical support engineers can investigate.
