Looking for examples of alt text for math equations
Hi everyone, the Storyline team is currently exploring ways to support math equations and we've heard from several customers that accessibility, specifically screen reader support, is very important. But we would like to hear from more users to make sure we deliver something that's actually usable and valuable to you. If you use equations, could you share how you approach alt text for accessibility? Do you use short descriptions, long descriptions, or both? We'd also love to see examples of how you describe specific equations to better understand your process and needs. Your feedback will help shape this feature! Hi, We currently have our course in English only, but more and more we get requests to translate the content. The content is mostly text and speech (generated with the text to speech feature). I know about the feature on how to export, translate and import again, but now with AI and LLM and translation tools like DeepL is there a smarter and easier way to do it than duplicating slides and courses in different languages? Anyone with ideas, experience or suggestions? I am happy to hear what you think.is there an Issue with Articulate 360?
When I tried to open a project that I need to work on, a pop up said I need to sign in, when I try to sign in it comes up with an error message: { "name": "AxiosError" } And my Articulate 360 Desktop app is saying I dont have a subscription/I must sign in - but when I try to sign in from the app I get the above error message I have an important project that needs to be completed by Monday and I cannot open it HELP!Dark mode for Storyline 360
Hi there Just wondering if there is a way now (or will be...) in SL360 settings to have the build tool adjustable to a dark grey background and tool bars like in the MS Office suite and Adobe CC programs. I perform accessibility testing on a lot of Rise content, and one of the most frequent issues I raise is the focus order of the "Next" button for the first slide of the Process Block potentially causes problems for screen reader users. The issue is, that when using a screen reader, the "Next" button appears in the focus order prior to the content on the first slide. This means that a screen reader user could miss the content on the first slide if they were to go ahead and select the "Next" button (which seems logical) rather than continuing down the page to the contents of the first slide. My suggestion would be to remove, or add an aria-hidden="true" to the Next button for the first slide. This would then allow screen reader users to continue down the page to the contents of the first slide and use the START > button instead. I'm sure I have logged this as an issue in the past, and will do again, but just wanted to raised it here so I can track the issue.Closed Captions Only Displaying on First Line of Video
I'm experiencing an issue with the closed captions on my Storyline 360 imported videos. The captions only appear on the first line of the video and then disappear for the rest of the playback. This is happening even when I manually type the captions or try importing .srt or .vtt caption files. I recently updated Storyline 360 on August 27th, and this issue started occurring after that update. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I've tried troubleshooting it but can't seem to find a solution. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping this is just a temporary bug that will get resolved in a future update, but in the meantime, I'm struggling to get my videos properly captioned. I need to be able to create a table in either Storyline or Rise that has both column headings AND row headings, and I need it to be 508 accessible and properly read out both headings along with cell contents. As best I can tell, both products only support column headings. The recommendation is to use an image of a table and then describe it in alt text, which I know my 508 auditor will not accept. Has anyone found a solution to this?create accessible PDF/word from Articulate Storyline 360
Can we have a road map to produce accessible PDF or word file out of Storyline 360. The current feature produce a out put with slide image and notes text. Can this be a roadmap to produce multi modal content out put from single storyline source?Adding image captions to images within tabs
Hi everyone, is there a way to add captions to images within tabs in Rise? In accordion tabs, standard tabs, and process blocks there is no option to add captions as there is when working with a single image or an image gallery. I can "fake" a caption by adding the text underneath my body text within the tab, but this is not ideal.
