Hi! Just wondering if this is expected behaviour. When a dialogue is displayed and then closed again, the screen reader: Reads the label of the dialog after the dialog is closed (or it says 'dialogue' if there is no label) Once it gets to the end of the focus order, reads the most recently visited dialogue label (or 'dialogue' if no label) again. It seems to focus on the whole slide when it does this. It happens before it gets to the player controls. Bonus weird thing/bug: If you activate NVDA then click with your mouse on elements (including ones that are hidden from accessibility), when you go back to keyboard control, the elements you clicked on also get added to the end of the focus order before the player controls. https://360.articulate.com/review/content/985a380f-0762-4823-b2f1-62f0f3ba2bac/review18Views0likes1CommentBug: The screen reader is reading the table contents incorrectly
Hi Team, I developed the Storyline module using version 3.91.33139.0 and tested it with the NVDA 12.3.1 screen reader. The screen reader is reading the table contents incorrectly in version 3.91, unlike in the older versions 3.87 and 3.86. The screen reader reads as follows in older versions: Take a look at the correct answer. Table with 2 columns and 5 rows columns 1 and row 1 Forgetting common words when speaking columns 2 and row 1 Potential symptom of dementia columns 1 and row 2 Mixing up words columns 2 and row 2 Potential symptom of dementia columns 1 and row 3 Occasionally forgetting names columns 2 and row 3 Normal age-related change columns 1 and row 4 Asking the same questions repeatedly columns 2 and row 4 Potential symptom of dementia columns 1 and row 5 Misplacing items Occasionally columns 2 and row 5 Normal age-related change However, the screen reader incorrectly reads the table order in version 3.91 of Storyline as follows Take a look at the correct answer. table with 5 rows and 2 columns Table with 2 columns and 5 rows row 1 column 1 columns 1 and row 1 Forgetting common words when speaking column 2 row 2 columns 1 and row 1 Forgetting common words when speaking column 1 columns 1 and row 2 Mixing up words column 2 row 3 columns 1 and row 1 Forgetting common words when speaking column 1 columns 1 and row 3 Occasionally forgetting names column 2 row 4 columns 1 and row 1 Forgetting common words when speaking column 1 columns 1 and row 4 Asking the same questions repeatedly column 2 row 5 columns 1 and row 1 Forgetting common words when speaking column 1 columns 1 and row 5 Misplacing items Occasionally out of table columns 2 and row 1 Potential symptom of dementia columns 2 and row 2 Potential symptom of dementia columns 2 and row 3 Normal age-related change columns 2 and row 4 Potential symptom of dementia columns 2 and row 5 Normal age-related change button CONTINUE I have attached a screenshot showing the bug and the focus order that I set. Could you please check and provide a solution ?28Views0likes2CommentsIs there a way to create custom alt text for Hyperlinks
Is there a way to create custom alt text for Hyperlinks. When I create a text hyperlink I am not able to add custom alt text. When I use NVDA all I hear is the "name of text and link" and for the visited state it just says "visited link". If have multiple links in one text box there is no way for the non-sighted learner using a screen reader to know which link they are on after visiting them since they just say "visited link". I know the workaround is to use a transparent object to customize the normal and visited states with descriptive alt text, but that is very time consuming. Is there a better way to do this.38Views1like3CommentsTurkish captions not displaying properly.
Hi, team. I'm currently converting some English modules into Turkish, and most of the captions are not displaying correctly: The correct characters are there in the source file (first screenshot), but when published onto the LMS, some characters are omitted (second screenshot). Is there a way to fix this?18Views0likes1CommentFeedback Layer Error in Storyline 360 Screen Recording Software Simulation
Hi everyone, I'm building out an Excel simulation training for internal folks. Everything looks great, except for the feedback layers. I generally use the "Accessible" layout and our branding colors for feedback. However, when I review the course, I'm seeing only white text and no formatting on the feedback layer (e.g., no background, no graphics, no alignment) (see attachment). I tried creating a custom feedback template, but the same error occurs. I looked at the design features, but the colors/branding look fine. I've had some experience with screen recordings/simulations, but haven't encountered this yet. Any help or advice would be appreciated - this seems like a simple fix, but I'm stumped. Thanks in advance!! -ArynSolved22Views0likes2CommentsJaws Multiple choice question not pausing for periods when sentences are ending with a number.
Jaws Multiple choice question not reading/pausing for periods when sentences are ending with a number. If my first sentence end with "1." Next sentence, Jaws will not pause for the period. If my first sentence end with "1a." (or any letter), Next sentence, Jaws will pause for the period and read the next sentence. Temporary solution: Added a space before the period to fix this.34Views0likes4CommentsDark mode for Storyline 360
Hi there Just wondering if there is a way now (or will be...) in SL360 settings to have the build tool adjustable to a dark grey background and tool bars like in the MS Office suite and Adobe CC programs. I jump from those with a nice dark grey to Storyline 360 and it's bright white window is a bit of a jolt on the eyes... Cheers Simon167Views4likes137Comments
