Rise: double image appearing in 3 column grid
Hi. I have 3 images loaded into a 3 column grid block on Rise. Each one appears with a duplicate of the image behind it, a little bigger, so you can see it is duplicated. If I change the block to single image, it is fine. I have tried reloading this many times and also completely deleted the block and started from scratch. The images all still load with this dupe behind them. (I can't share an image here due to confidentiality, so I'm trying my best to describe it.) Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.
I got some additional information from Articulate. They have recently fixed an issue in Rise where in column grid gallery blocks the original aspect ratio image shows on top of its cropped square image. Good to know it wasn't just my crazy cookies. :-) Also was referred to a helpful blog about aspect ratios in Rise for the various blocks: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/image-dimensions-in-rise#reply-516395 There is a chart link within the blog that lists all the recommended aspect ratios.
A screenshot would help a lot to troubleshoot this issue.
Does this same problem also happen when you use generic images from the Image Library?
As I noted, I can't share the image due to confidentiality, but here is a portion of it. And no, it doesn't happen with images from the content library.

No, I haven't. But good to know it isn't just me. I'm going to submit a ticket to Articulate. Would you please do the same so they know it is more than one?
Laura, I just noticed that even though the edit version shows a weird duplicate image, in preview it doesn't. But in preview, the images are all cut off and you have to click the magnifier to see them properly. In edit, the images are fine and all visible, just with the double image behind. Are you seeing this as well?
Hi Jan! That happens to me sometimes when the image isn't the right size for the square in the photo grid. Rise can be very picky when it comes to that, so I usually try to crop my photo to make it a square, and it fixes the issue.
Also, I just cleared the cookies from browser and the double image issue isn't happening anymore! It had been awhile since I had done it, so maybe if you try to clear cookies, it will fix your issue as well? Worth a shot.
Thanks, Laura! Clearing cookies worked. Yay! But now the images are cut off when before they weren't. Back to the drawing board. Articulate team ... please make the option available in Rise to have pictures in rectangle shape.
