Rise | Embedding Vimeo video with "hidden" privacy in Vimeo

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to embed videos into a Rise module using Vimeo.

In Vimeo, the settings selected are :

  • Privacy = Hide from Vimeo
  • Embed = Specific domains (and I've adde "cdn.embedly.com" as a domain)

In Rise, I have the message "Hey There! To play your video here, change its privacy settings so it can be embedded on: cdn.embedly.com".

I also use the link : https://player.vimeo.com/video/...

I've done some test, and the only way it works is by using privacy = Public (which is not an option for us).

Can you help me?

    Thanks for reaching out! I'm happy to help troubleshoot this issue for you. Would you be willing to share the URL link to your Vimeo video? When you apply the settings below to your Vimeo video, does it help remove the error?

    • Link: "Hide from Vimeo"
    • Where can the video be embedded?: "Anywhere"

    Also, what embed code are you using to insert the video into your Rise course? I am looking forward to your response.
