Restricting Course Access Once Complete

Hello, I am not sure if this is strictly an LMS question, but I wanted to start here first.  We create all of our courses in Articulate, importing them into our LMS via SCORM.  Due to continuing education regulations, the course content has to be locked first before the learner can access the exam.  Is there a way to do that in the course itself?  Also, is there a way to automatically have the course content "unlock" once the exam is submitted so the learner can go back into the content at a later date to review content if needed?
