New to Storyline--Trouble with buttons and conditions

I have been working with a Udemy course to create a my first course in Storyline. After creating the basic framework and adding in triggers, I wanted to go back and add a few other features. One of the items I am having some trouble with is in the area of buttons and using conditions. This is where I am currently.

1) I have 3 buttons on the page and each links to a different page in the module. Each page then sends the user back to the page with the 3 buttons when they have watched the video (whether they click next or previous).

2) Problem 1: Only the first button highlights after the use has clicked on it.

3) Problem 2: The user is unable to advance to the next Slide, once they have clicked on all 3 buttons. I have set the condition that buttons 1, 2 and 3 must be visited before moving on to that next Slide.

I have re-watched the video and looked over my notes, but I am not seeing what I have missed. Can you help?
