New Colour Selector very temperamental

Hi,
New to Articulate so please be patient.
I can change colours on fonts and shapes etc.. my issue is the amount of time the Colour Selector window takes to open. Doesn't matter if I'm changing font colour or a shape colour it is the time it takes to open. My last count about 5 mins ago was 18 seconds to just open the window. Anyone else have this issue?
That doesn't seem right. When I open up the colour selector window it is basically instantaneous. You might want to open up a support case.
