White theme colour and quizzes

Hi all. We want to use white as our theme color and we want the course to be very stark to make the content/videos stand out. The problem is when it comes to add a quiz, the white theme colour carries over to the check marks and the user cannot see that they have selected an answer. Is there any way to change this? Thanks in advance for any help/recommendations.
