Multiple Languages & Scoring
Hi,
I’ve developed a course available in three languages, allowing learners to select their preferred language from the main page by clicking a button. However, the course includes knowledge checks that contribute to the final score. How can I set it up so that learners are graded only on the knowledge checks in the language they choose, while the other language versions are ignored in the scoring?

There are a few ways to do that. The method to use depends on how the course is set up.
One way is to have a separate Results slide for each language. When you publish for the LMS, indicate to track all of the Results slides. The program will only submit the results from the first one that the user completes—which would be the one in their selected language.
It's also possible to limit a Results slide to only score questions that were viewed. That's done in Quiz Settings.
BTW, both Rise and Storyline limit you to one language for the Text Labels (that is, the messages the system displays, such as the warning if you click the Submit button before selecting a response to a quiz question). Thus, if you combine multiple languages into one project, some folks could see information in a language they didn't choose.

Oh wow! Thank you! This helps so much. I didn't even think about the text labels thing, but that makes sense. I appreciate it.
