Multi-language support and course menu...
Hi All, I developed a couple of multiple language courses. The first one I put the different languages in different layers of the same slide. The interface is such that the user clicks on the desired language, the program jumps to the appropriate scene and shows the selected language. The menu looked clean, with only one item per slide, but the project was incredibly difficult to manage.
The second one, I put the different languages in different scenes. The interface is such that the user selects the desired language, and the program jumps to the scene with the selected language. The project is much more simple to manage, but the menu now is unsatisfactory. The course really has only 7 slides, including the "intro", "outro" and lightbox slides. However, the menu has now 37 items in it.
...any ideas about how I can keep the project as simple as possible while cutting down on the number of menu items, or simplifying the menu somehow so that only the slides for the selected language show?

The only way I can think of would be to create a custom "menu" slide that could be added to your main menu and "lightboxed" when clicked. That slide could read from variables set elsewhere and trigger where to go based on it.
Hope that helps.
