Learner Notes - Input Boxes
I would love to have a section that could be reachable at any point in the course for users to make notes or to comment? Has anybody seen any work arounds? Seems like a HUGE feature request, its just that our case studies and focus groups are showing that the end user want's to be able to make notes.

I add my voice to the voting on the Note section, so it can be transferred to the LMS as a user input from Rise. We would like to have a feedback field for user input at the end of our course. Thank you!

I've had a few attempts at solving the note issue using customisations to the Rise content after it has been published. This is tricky and you have to remember to edit it after you republish.
I've recently been working on injecting a note taker using Storyline. The Storyline block runs some javascript when it first loads to patch the functionality into Rise, then the block deletes itself. It's not quite ready to share, but here's a demo of it in action, which even works on the review page:

You can leave feedback in Review. I'd also like to know how people would like to see a notes feature working inside Rise, specifically:
- How would you access the notes?
- Where would the notes be stored?
- Would the user need to differentiate between different pages or blocks, and how would that work?
- What would the visual design look like for desktop and mobile?

I would agree with the request for note taking. This is coming from the L&D space for corporate training. We're looking to replace content created with iBooks Author which allows annotation for the students to study for tests, etc. and would love it if Rise offered the same!

We would love it if the note taking feature within a Rise course so that the learner can save and print or at least reference somehow throughout the course.
We vote to have this feature added!

I totally agree that we need the notes features in Rise, the ebook I have to create is very simple to create in Rise, but a lot more challening in Storyline 360. It would just make it so much easier to just be able to have the feature in Rise. For example our work is basically 80% content and 20% note taking and it is going to take me forever to set it up in Storyline 360 compared to Rise.
Thanks for your feedback! Our team has a feature request logged for this capability and I will make sure your voice gets added to the discussion.

Yes, another vote for a note-taking function. To print notes to PDF would be an added bonus!

I know this thread was a while ago, but was this feature ever added to Rise? If not, the workaround may be to create a notes box within storyline and them import it into Rise. I'm not 100% competent in Rise just yet, but the preliminary test I did seemed to work.

Note taking and saving them in the LMS would be very useful indeed. Please add my vote.
Will do!

Note taking, journaling would be a fantastic addition. Something that would allow the learner to interact with a concept/question and have their responses available each time they revisit the course.

Please add my vote too! Would be super helpful to have this feature, for our users to be able to write down their thoughts for reflection questions, etc.
