Layer audio does not play correctly when layer is shown 2nd time
I have many slides that have audio play when a layer is shown. The audio plays correctly the first time the layer is shown. But, if the layer is shown again, the first second or two of the audio is cut off. I have the layer set to reset to initial state. It is definitely a glitch and not an error in how it is setup. Has anybody experienced this?
I have worked around this by having the audio triggered by the timeline of an object starting on the layer. But this is not a great solution when I have hundreds of slides that this effects.

Hi All, i have the same issue. State of slide set to Reset to initial. Base layer completes, triggers the playing of a new layer. when the hot spot on that layer is clicked, the base layer reloads. the first line of audio works but not the other audio on that line.

Hi Team, any solution for this issue?
Hi AmirSaifullah-3! I've responded to your post in this discussion. We'll continue the conversation there!
ChristopherH373 Could you also provide your .story file so we can test it out on our end? You can share it in this discussion or privately in a support case.

Hi Lauren ,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Please find attached file. this problem slide is the middle one. if you let the base layer complete the timeline, then go back, only the first audio file will play.
I have created a work around by exporting the slide as a video file, then isolating the sound file in Adobe Audition, then re-importing it as one file but this is rather time consuming.

Is there any chance you all could provide an example file with a page or two? It would help us understand your situation if we could reproduce it.

I just wanted to confirm (as of 02 Sep 2024) that I'm also experiencing this issue with some of my own SL360 projects, and the 'Reset To Initial State' option is not the problem.
Hello Chris,
Thanks for reaching out! It's a great idea to open a case as well. I see you've connected with my teammate, Ian, who helped test the issue on his end.
Let's continue the conversation in your support case to keep all the information in one place, but I'm happy to assist further as needed.
