Hi Rachel. Make sure your video is set to play Automatically (under Video : Options : Play Video). If not, it disconnects from the timeline. Trying to set it to play When Triggered (or setting Automatic but using a trigger to pause it) seems to prevent it from playing properly when you jump in the timeline, even if triggering it to play again.
Since Automatic starts the video immediately, try adding a Pause Timeline trigger on Slide Start, and then follow each Jump to Time trigger with a Play Video trigger. This should let you play and pause the video and jump around using the timeline.

Alternatives are to use some JavaScript to jump the video clip to where you want or cut your video into smaller clips, place them sequentially, and jump to the beginning of each clip on the timeline.
