Getting around file size limitations for Canvas and Storyline

Hi all - I'm a new Instructional Designer working in a university setting with Canvas as our LMS. I'm noting that our subscription to Canvas has a very limited file storage size. This would eliminate the potential for using Storyline really. I'm wondering if others have found a workaround to this (e.g., is it possible to store the files elsewhere and link to them from the LMS?).

    I'm looking forward to the suggestions our community members will give you for working with low storage and specifically in Canvas, but I wanted to share a tip and an article:

    When you publish from Storyline, you can adjust the quality of media, which will affect the size of your published package:
