Hi all I have a Doubt with Exit Course Trigger, whether I use a custom button with the exit course trigger it is working on Chrome, IE Browsers but it is not working on Firefox Browser. I have tried with different methods still it not working on Firefox. Is that a Browser Problem? If Anyone Know please suggest me. Thank you. Regards, Siva G

Quickly jumping into this discussion to give you an update on this bug where the Exit Course trigger wasn't working properly in a variety of browsers! Good news! We've released the fix in the most recent update for Storyline 360 (Update 36; Build 3.36.21213.0). To keep up with the newest features and bug fixes, you'll need to update the Articulate 360 Desktop App!

I'm having this problem as well today - it was working fine yesterday, but have tried in IE and Chrome and the window just freezes when clicking 'Exit now', and no progress is saved... Hayley UPDATE: Turns out my issue wasn't a problem with the Exit button - it's a problem with Articulate's database meaning results aren't saving: "We've identified an issue with our database that is preventing course results from being saved. We are working to rollback the database change that caused this. During this time, you will be unable to view content." Sorry for hijacking your post Siva!

We're having this issue today in Storyline. The exit button is not working in Firefox, but in all other browsers the Exit button is working fine. Anyone else? Any ideas on why?

We are currently on Build 3.39.22088.0 of Storyline 360. You can read all of the details here.

If you're still seeing the issue in the latest update, we would certainly want to take a closer look.

When you say the exit trigger does not work, does a 404 error page appear when clicking this option?

If so, we released a fix for this bug in Storyline 360 Build 3.39.22088.0. If you see this behavior on this update, I'm happy to troubleshoot the file to see what's going on in Chrome!

Hi all,

A quick update for you regarding the goodbye.html file. The latest update (Update 41) of Storyline moves the goodbye.html file back to its original location in your program files. If you’ve customized the goodbye.html file for your Storyline courses, you’ll need to copy and paste your custom file into the following folder on your computer after installing the latest Storyline 360 update.

32-bit Windows
C:\Program Files\Articulate\360\Storyline\Content\lms

64-bit Windows
C:\Program Files (x86)\Articulate\360\Storyline\Content\lms

  I'm happy to help! You can use the Exit Course button without using a separate Launch window. If you don't see this behavior with your course in the LMS environment, do you mind sharing your project with us? You can upload it privately in a support case. Also, which LMS standard are you using? SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, TinCan, cmi5, etc.

This version : V3.72.29699.0, the "exit" trigger seems to not working again when published into cmi5.

Hi Sarith,

Have you tested your course in SCORM cloud? It's an online LMS environment that can be used to figure out whether the issue is with the LMS or the Story file. If you test your course on SCORM cloud and it works perfectly, then your issue is LMS based.
