Are any compatibility settings selected in the course properties? IE won't display modern content if IE8, IE9, IE10, etc.. are selected. The other thing you might try is hitting F12 to open the error console. This could provide helpful info on why the content is not running.
This fixed our issue with our trainings launching in Chrome, but not in Internet Explorer (the primary browser for our company). THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
