Corrupted ppt files vs Articulate.Presenter.exe

For the past few months I have had issues with Ppt files because they got corrupted. IT and Microsoft have been checking and they have identified that there is a clash between a ppta file from Articulate called Articulate.Presenter.exe and ppt. And due to this clash, it creates automatically a "trash folder" where it stores thousands of trash files and causes the ppt to be corrupted. Even when not loading those ppt in Articulate or Storyline.

Has anyone experience anything similar?
