Captions & Captions Button Disappear When Resuming on Video SLide
Hi! We are having the same problem as this thread from 3 years ago, where the captions and captions button disappear on a video slide that has show captions by default set to true as well as the project set to always resume. I wanted to follow up to see if there was a solution for this or if it is still an unsolved bug.
Thanks!

just testet - the bug is not fixed
it happens if
- you use setting "Always resume"
AND
- storyline don't shows the "play" button on resume (if the test for autoplay has the result "play button not needed")
test in Firefox*
- peak: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/74918c54-dbbf-429f-8185-c73a8f768b5c/review
- setting in Firefox "Block Audio and Video"
- -> "play" button in storyline is always needed for autoplay video
- result: no problem with CC and "always resume"
next test in Firefox
- peak: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/6847883d-7327-473c-a605-35ebad78bbe9/review
- setting in Firefox "Allow Audio and Video"
- -> "play" button in storyline not needed for autoplay video
- result: CC function don't work on the resumed slide
* it's much easier to test this bug in Firefox - it should be the same in Chrome

I have send this error report to articulate support - maybe the bug will be fixed now
Thanks for reporting this, Lee and Jürgen! I see that my colleague Robert has already added it to the existing bug report for missing closed captions upon resume. Here's a peek into our process:
