Can I change a thumbnail on a video?
Right now it is showing a black screen, is there a way to add a thumbnail image from my video as the cover instead of a black screen?
+1. C'mooooooon Articulate. Don't let us down for another 3+ years on this one. (but also "thanks" for everything you DO do for us. Great products overall) :)
Further to my answer from, goodness, 3 years back. I find that this is a simple workaround (and I'll keep the tools simple too):
Open PowerPoint. On Slide 1. create your poster/title frame.
On Slide 2. Place your video (remember to set the "Playback" to "Automatically"
Set the Transition on Slide 1. to "None" and set the "Advance Slide" to "After 00:00.01"
Save as "MP4" and you should now have a video that will display correctly on your course and will smoothly transition from the Title card to the video.

How is it possible to not have the Control over the first impression on a video for the learner? I think the importance of the Thumbnail is not to be discussed - E.g. Thumbnails are responsible for the rise and fall of YouTube videos. We need to have the control over this factor.

Please prioritize this feature request. It's standard in other applications and definitely takes away from the user experience
Jumping on the bandwagon here...
Thumbnails for video modules is very much a no brainer. As a product manager, previously, I understand the difficulty in getting items in to a roadmap and into dev. This one really is a pretty straight forward request and has obviously a ton of need. Help us out!
