AI Assistent in Rise produces only English?

I just tried out the AI assistent for generating a new course. My input from answering the initial questions to uploading documents was in German. Yet, the output is in English. I don't think that's a good practice. Or have I missed a preconfiguration for the language?
Else, having to duplicate the course for translation and then having to translate everything manually plus proof reading it will not be a path to go.

  • Hi Iris, thank you for your reply. I think you are showing a screenshot from block creation inside a course.

    In my case, I have been testing the AI Assistant for course creation, and it is a very weak tool. First of all, one needs to tell the AI explicitly which language to use even if every input and the uploaded docs are in German, and you can do not do that in the first step. Secondly, the AI Assistant outputs the course title in German, but the course description is still in English. 🤔

    The AI Assistant produces an outline for a course like this (just an extracted example):

    ----

    Lesson 4: Erkennen und Analysieren von Veränderungen
    * Frühwarnsignale identifizieren
    * Analyse der Veränderungssituation
    * Veränderungspotential einschätzen
    Lesson 5: Strategien zur Unterstützung der Mitarbeitenden
    * Emotionale Unterstützung bieten
    * Kommunikation während Veränderungen
    * Ressourcen und Schulungen bereitstellen

    ----

    But what you get after hitting the button to create the course is this:

    ----

    Erkennen und Analysieren von Veränderungen

    Strategien zur Unterstützung von Veränderungen

    ----

    In other words: If you want to use the proposed content details under the lesson titles you should copy & paste them from the chat. (BTW, while every other text generating LLM has an integrated function to copy the answer, Articulate's assistent doesn't have that.)

    This is such a low level performance that we are not going to buy it.

    Hi LukaPeters,

    I tried the AI feature in my German module and it works. When instructing the AI, just add ... write in German.

    Hi Luka,

    I usually work in spanish and even the interface works in english, when I provide source documents, as PDFs or Word files, in spanish the content suggested by Rise is in perfect spanish.

      Hello Ernesto

      Lucky you. As described, the AI assistant didn't work that way for German.

      I hope that Articulate staff is going to answer here.
