Hello, our L&D manager recently left and we need to access the videos she made on her articulate account and be able to download them as a scorm file. When I downloaded the program and went in, there was no documents. Are these saved directly on the machine? If so, is there anyway to access these if the laptop has already been repurposed?
If the manager used Storyline to create videos, those source files would be on her laptop. You'd have to ask your IT folks if they can retrieve the files. (That'll depend on how thoroughly they erase data when they repurpose a device.)
It's also possible that she backed up the files somewhere that's accessible. For example, does the team have a shared site for that sort of thing? (If not, now you know why there should be one.) Or would she have had a personal online storage space that IT might be able to access?
