Very slow import import in Storyline 360
I have a short (10 slides) ppt file I want to import. It scans the slides ok but seems to be getting stuck afterwards- I'm at 45 mins at the moment and still only 20% through. Am on the latest ver...
I am also severely impacted by this, with just a few very basic slides and it takes an eternity to import.
- Current versions of SL360 x64 and SL360 behave the same here, very slow.
- I'm using a virtual machine, but the drives are locally connected. Everything is plenty fast outside of this specific task of importing PPTs, which was much faster in the past. I was using the same system and setup in the past as well, so this definitely feels like an issue related to PowerPoint or SL specifically.
- PowerPoint is the most current available for me: Version 2403.
- I've "repaired" via uninstall/reboot/reinstall both versions of the software and this didn't resolve anything.

Sorry to hear you've also run into this setback!
Testing the behavior on my end, in the current version of Storyline 360, I didn't observe any slowdowns when importing PowerPoint slides. It would be helpful to have a closer look at the PowerPoint file that's giving you trouble. Do you mind sharing a copy here in the discussion or privately through a support case?
We'll delete it from our system as soon as troubleshooting is complete!
