Uploading to LMS

Our LMS is called ESR. When we create a course on rise 360, publish and upload to the LMS when we then view the course it is not full screen. We receive courses from external providers using rise360, when they are uploaded to the LMS they are full screen so assuming we are doing something wrong when publishing?

Can we have some support on what we could do to resolve this?

    Hi Laura,

How your Rise course is displayed in your LMS, is determined by the LMS, not Rise.

Thank you for the reply! What is strange is that external courses that are uploaded in the same way will display full screen but ours dont...

in what you are saying, there could be an issue with how we are uploading on the LMS? IS there anything we should be doing?

        Hi Laura,

You may need to reach out to your LMS support to check for how you can control the launch behavior of your course windows.  As an example, SCORM Cloud allows you to set the launch behavior of the course to Full Screen (as shown below):

ESR may have a similar setting that can set your course to full screen.

  • Hi Laura,

We use ESR for our mandatory eLearning. I have recently created a training package using Rise360 however whenever we publish to ESR the course won't resume if a user leaves the course part way through finishing it. I was wondering if you had the same problem or if your Rise packages resume? If they resume could you please let me know how you set this up in ESR as I understand that Rise doesn't have the functionality to resume and relies on the LMS.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Gemma
