Troubleshoot "ghost" variable
I have variables set up to complete sections of a course. They all work fine, except for on one slide. It seems like there is a "ghost" application of a variable and I can't find it to delete it.
In capture 1 screenshot you can see Completed 7 is applied four times, not three like every other complete variable.
When I check where it is applied (capture 2 screenshot) it tells me it is applied on button 1 - submit button on slide 08. (It's a hotspot slide)
But when I go to that slide, there is no trigger or variable for Completed7 and there is no button 1. (capture 3 and 4 screenshots)
How can I remove this renegade use of the Completed7 variable?
Thanks in advance.

Capture4 shows objects for 10 5, while Capture2 seems to indicate 10 08.
If Capture 3 is of 10 08, you might click on Completed08, and see what it really points to. It used to be if you copied slides or triggers, on the new slide they would appear OK, but when edited would show something entirely different. Don't know if it still does that or not.
Otherwise, attach the .story file (or at least that slide) here, so someone can take a look at it.

Thanks for your fast reply Walt. To clarify; 10 08 is part of the name of the scene. 10 is the scene and 08 is the start of the text name I've given it. 10.5 is the hotspot slide within scene 10. (Capture 5) When I click on Completed08 in the hotspot slide, or in the list of where the variable is used, it all looks ok. (Capture 6)
I have attached just the scenes in question

Submit Button is the name of a layer, not a button:

Oh my goodness! Thank you! I never would have found that - I thought I'd looked everywhere. Have made a note for next time.
Thanks again Walt!
