Hi Karen,
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble trimming the end part of a Storyline screencast.
While dragging the end marker, you can look at the Trim End value at the lower right of the Video Editor and stop dragging once you've reached the correct time. I've attached a screen recording for you to illustrate the steps.
