  • the problem are not the cue points in the timeline, the problem is the trigger

    • when the timeline reaches ...

    regardless of whether cue-point or time

    if it's

    • the first active trigger
    • without user interaction
    • after the slide started

    => strange thing happens

    example 1 (your test):

    => Cue point 1 (0.23s) => Timeline ok, Audio not ok

    example 2 (a variation of your test):

    => time 0m 0s => trigger don't work at all

    example 3: another type of trigger (... starts ...)

    => timeline ok, Audio ok

      Thanks Jürgen for getting back to me.
      Tested and confirmed.
      In my case I have project needs where I want to bypass timeline fragments in the middle of slides.
      In such cases I can't use "if the timeline reaches" at all.
      Is this reported issue of example 1 and 2 going to be fixed ?

      I stumbled over the reported issue already multiple times.
      A workaround would take so much effort as I would need to fragment a long slide timelines into many individual slides and manage always the relationships as well as the start up and end of every single one.

  • i would not assume that the problematic behavior of this trigger will change in the near future

    you have to test in EXACTLY your 'final' slide whether it can be used

    I would think about a plan B

  • Thank you for your appraisal.
    I will create a support case in parallel as functionalities that are not doing what they are supposed to do are a NO GO in professional (and not quite cheap) tools.

      Hi Andreas,

      I see you’ve reached out to our Support Engineers and are working with my teammate, Janina. You’re in great hands! We’ll continue the conversation in your support case.
