Translations in Transifex

Hello, we are using the Transifex software to get our Rise 360 courses translated. I know that you have to upload the XLIFF files into the original course that you uploaded the file from. My question is, will it still upload if you change the images and/or videos in the course? Could you also go ahead and change the label language in the Rise course? Is that still considered the "original" course or will it not work anymore because it was altered? We have already had some trial and error with this and had some translations deleted, so I wanted to ask before we did anything else. TIA for any adivice or help!
