Hello everyone, I just started using Storyline 360 this week. In Story View, I noticed that the slides are arranged horizontally rather than vertically (as shown in many tutorials). How can I change...
Storyview lays out the slides based on the navigation.
- Typically, the Next button jumps to the "next" slide in the numerical sequence. That creates the vertical set of slides in Storyview.
- If there are no triggers linking the slides, they show in an unconnected horizontal layout like the one you're seeing.
Thus, to see the slides in a vertical layout, they need to be connected with triggers.
BTW, with complicated courses, Storyview doesn't always look like what you might expect. But as long as your triggers work as expected, that doesn't matter.
And, as Ron said, the tabs across the top are simply the slides that were recently opened from Storyview.
