Sotryline and Collaboration with new team member and Review

Hi there,

I am trying to read up on how Team's work.  I see you can collaborate and work on same file for RISE.  Can you do this with Storyline?  My example is I created an e-learning a year ago, it is up on my review.  New edits are now being done by the SME, there is a good chance the new hire will take this on.  I can give them my review link for them to see the comments.  However, when they go to publish the newer version it will go up to their review, will the comments go with it? I assume if it is their review it will generate a different url?  Thoughts?

  • Hi!

I wanted to share that we just released Team Folders for Review 360! You can now create shared team folders in Review 360 to organize your content and assign permissions. This also includes allowing multiple authors to publish new versions of the content you shared in these folders for better collaboration.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

  • Thanks Leslie, just got back from vacation, back to the grind now!  So, does my admin have to do something for us to see this shared space, or do I have to go to specific url to see stuff we share?  This is just the actual storyline file, as you mentioned we both can't look at a file and see the comments unless one of us shares our Review link with the other correct?

  • Hi Teresa,

Thanks for contacting us and sharing what you are interested in working on.

    Specific to Storyline 360 collaboration:

    • With the team slides feature, you can share Storyline 360 content with other Articulate 360 Teams users. You can upload templates, individual slides, and entire scenes to your shared collection for any team member to use in their projects.

In Review 360, you are correct, each Review account is per user. We do have a feature request we are tracking to implement a Team Review account to fit this need. I've added this conversation to the report as we continue to track this request.

  • Hi Teresa!

As long as you are all on the same 360 Team, then everyone will have access to the collaboration tools. Since you're sharing Storyline slides and scenes, you'll want to look into Team Slides. This article has everything you need to know about Team Slides.

For Review 360, everyone who has the Share Link will see the comments. Only the original publisher can resolve those comments. Here's everything you need to know about collaborating with Review 360.
