Removing Video controls in Rise
Hi
I'm using the Accordion block to show a process and I've added a video in the last panel. I want to remove the video control function but cannot find a way of doing it. The video is very short and the detail I want everyone to see sits behind the video control.
Thanks!
Tina
Hi Tina,
We don't have a way to remove the player/control bar of a video inserted in Rise. But it should automatically disappear when the mouse cursor has been inactive for a few seconds while hovering over the video or after the cursor hovers out of the video. This player/control bar will show up again once the cursor moves while it is over the video or when it hovers back inside the video.
Another option is to host the video on a video hosting site (e.g., Youtube) and use its built-in parameters to disable the video controls. For Youtube, here is a link that helps describe this process.

How about converting the video into an animated gif?
