Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case? Please include which specific objects and slides should we take a look at so we can test your course properly. We'll delete it when we're done testing!

If the objects that you are clicking on are found on a slide layer, you can enable the option shown in the screenshot in the slide layer properties to pause any audio that is playing in your base layers.
