policy on using content on this site

I am a newbie, and at my age! What is the policy on using ideas you find in the examples? Not talking word-for-word, gaah, but there is a simple lesson with 4 styles of communication I would like to use? Is this OK?
BTW am loving what I've found so far.

  • Hello Greg and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community!! ๐ŸŽ‰ So happy to have you join and to hear you're loving it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Are you referring to an example or download you found in our hub? If so, you can check out our full Terms of Use here or in this relevant section:

    (a) Downloadable Assets. An example of a downloadable asset is a PowerPoint template that Articulate provides. You will have a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, terminable right to use, reproduce, display, and distribute downloadable assets in a commercial work (including the right to showcase it as part of your portfolio). All other rights are reserved. Accordingly, you may not distribute, modify, or host downloadable assets as your own content (or permit any third party to do so).

So basically, you can use the templates in your course creation, you just can't resell the templates as your own work. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some of the downloads are posted by our staff whereas others are from our awesome community members. Either way, they've been cleared to share here and used by folks in the E-Learning Heroes Community!

Let us know if you have any other questions!

      Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your detailed reply. I have looked at so many training videos now I have to try to remember where I saw the lesson I'm interested in.

Am enjoying my first 36 hours with Articulate. It's fun. Confusing t the start, but still fun.
      Cheers,
      Greg

Does this apply to the videos in the templates?  Can we use them in our course creations?

Hey Amy! If the video is part of the template, I don't see why not. You can also use the videos included in Content Library 360.
