Object showing "Normal" state very shortly
Hi all,
I have a problem with the slide in the attachment (it is in Dutch, sorry). I've created the slide so that when I click on a character, a following layer shows. This works, however... When the following layer starts, all the four characters very shorlty show in Normal state before showing the state I want them to be in. It is just a fraction of a second, but it annoys the hell out of me. Can anyone help me?
I have the problem in another slide, where I have set an object to change to another state when the timeline of a layer starts. In that layer the object also shows Normal state for a fraction of a second.

Hi Tom,
I didn't notice the brief switch you mentioned. (Your eyes must be quicker than mine!) Perhaps adding a Transition between layers would help.

Hi Judy,
Thanks for your reply. I still see the error, but I just found out that it only happens the first time I click on a character. The second time (and further) I click on the character, it doesn't happen.
Does this help you? Hi Tom,
I'm seeing the flicker as well.
I noticed that you've duplicated most of the content from the base layer to each of the layers and the layers are not closed between each character. The flicker appears to be the presentation of the background image and the characters on the layers. I'm curious if there will be more content on these layers or if you could use the states to present the state changes.
