Hi all, I have been working in SL for some time now and I would like to take the next step in development. Is the next step JavaScript or HTML5 or........

Thanks Brian and Matthew. I agree I don't really want to learn all of JavaScript, just what I need for more interactivity in SL. I will look into your suggestions.

  • Javascript and HTML5 both you need to learn. Both have their own importance, One is for designing another is for deploying the website/web application. But if you go through searching over the web then you need to go through with javascript tutorials first for learning then you need to go or move towards the HTML5 which is advance level of basic HTML.

Yes. I agree with this and wanna add practise a lot!

  • Storyline without Javascript could also be very interactive.  I've uploaded recently a few examples on my heroes profile.

  • Thanks for chiming in to share your thoughts as well, Jon.

Practice is good for anything you're wanting to master :)
