missing projects

Hi I  have created some projects using Articulate 360 on my office PC, the files were saved on my desktop and we use cloud storage, I  would have thought that the files would have been saved in there, I recently had my desktop changed for a laptop and when logging into the cloud my articulate projects have been lost.  I have storyline output files which has all the content of my projects but I  am unable to import these, is there a way around this? I am pretty novice at this as you can probably tell!

  • I'm guessing you use the cloud storage as network drives, so your files were physically on the desktop computer.

Maybe you can do a search in the cloud for the name of the files (without the .story), to see if maybe your temporary files got saved to the cloud, but that seems unlikely.

I recommend brownies and kind words to the IT department, to see if you can get it back and take the files off it.

Otherwise, the output files are what is created when you publish, and unfortunately, once that cake is baked, you can't change the ingredients. Sorry, but the only way around this is to recover the .story files.
