Mis-alignment on slides and background keep changing

Hi

I am rebuilding custom slides in Storyline 360 due to a rebrand. I set a slide up correctly, titles and text all have a certain font size and alignment. I save and it all looks completely correct. But when I go back in some text has mis-aligned. For example instead of right-aligned it is now mid-aligned. Or a text has been set at 35px but I go in and it's changed to 28.5!  

 

I also have different backgrounds for different slides in the slide master. I come in and for some reason the background has changed. So a blank background all of a sudden has a background with shapes on it.

I can't understand if when I save and it is completely correct, I can go back in another day and it's all mis-aligned.
