Importing Audio Files into SL
Hi, I was in the process of importing audio files that I created in another software and suddenly it stop allowing me to add them. Is there a max on file size for a SL project? If so, what is that max and how do I find out what my current file size is for my project?

this was a 'normal' crash- save the .story file (best with a new name) at the latest after 20 imported audios
- dont use keyboard shortcuts to much - if you are to fast -> storyline will crash

arround 2 GByte per file - but for audio this isn't a problem>If so, what is that max and how do I find out what my current file size is for my project
publish to web and have a look in the folder "story_content"here some hints for audio in storyline
you should compress all audios outsite storyline with correct volume to the final web format
(e.g. mp3 mono cbr 96 kbit/s) - I use EZ CD Audio Converter (lifetime license $40)and deactivate "Compression"
result:
- you have control over the file size and quality of the media files
- you can use stereo mp3 (e.g. for music or special effect sounds)
- file size of .story is much smaller
- audio quality is better
- publish time is shorter
