Import a list of variables via a csv file
Andrea,
As far as I know, you cannot import variables via CSV files as of today.
As I don't work for Articulate, I can't tell you whether or not it is in their pipeline, but you can reference their roadmap here: https://articulate.com/support/article/Articulate-360-Feature-Roadmap#storyline-360
You have to create them within Storyline's interface first. That being said, if you already have a Storyline project with multiple variables, you can copy/paste them into a new Storyline project by:
1. Opening another instance of the application on your desktop
2. Select Manage Project Variables from the Triggers panel
3. Select the variables you want to copy over (Shift or Ctrl)
4. Open Manage Project Variables in your new project and copy them

Hi, Richard,
Thank you.
If I am not mistaken , there is the possibility to import Glossary items by uploading the list of terms. Can't the same method be used to import variables?
It should not be a big deal...

Andrea,
You are correct in that you can import a glossary from CSV. One would think a similar process could be used for variables. But, alas, I'm neither a programmer nor work for Articulate, so I'll have to leave it up to someone on their end to respond.

By the way, there are also import options for quiz questions from .xls and .txt files as well:
