Images on Sorting Activity
Hi all
Happy (almost) New Year!
Is there a way that images can be added for the sorting activity, instead of just text? Or perhaps it is something that can be included in a future release?

I would like to second this feature, and I have already submitted a feature request a couple of months ago. Is this something on the upcoming timeline? Thank you.

Hi Michael!
That is not currently a feature but we're always adding new features to Rise (you can check out what's coming soon on this page) and we take customer feedback very seriously. Please feel free to submit a feature request here :)

And again just bumping up this feedback request - we use sorting activities a lot in our learning but currently we are having to use Storyline blocks which is an inelegant workaround, and take slonger to build and implement then if we could simply use the built in sorting activity in Rise.
It also makes doing updates harder - we have people in our team that have licences for Rise but don't use Storyline as development isn't their full time role and Storyline has a higher learning curve then Rise does. Each time we have to perform updates to a Storyline element in a rise module we have to call in one of the specialist learning developers to do the work and re-export it back into the learning (rather than simply having the Rise user do a quick edit as they can with the built in interactions).
I thought I'd include the above for content as this request isn't just about the aesthetics of the activity, but also about making it easier to keep the modules updated. - ChrisJeffers910Community Member
Far too early yet, John. It has only been 4 years.

I've also submitted a feature request for this, would make the sorting activity so much more useful and suitable for users with different learning styles! :)

I want to add my vote for a picture option to be added to the sorting activity. Admittedly, I have no background in computer programming, but it doesn't seem like it would be a particularly heavy lift to add a picture option to the existing sorting activity. Am I wrong?

This would be a very useful feature for us too.

Thanks for letting us know, Tim. Please do submit a feature request, it doesn't hurt to get more requests in.

I concur. Of course, you can build this in Storyline and add as a block. However, the built in block in Rise would be a great way to have users categorize images. As someone who develops music content, adding audio to sorting as well as to flash cards would be a great feature. Audio in quizzes is also something needed.

Hi,
I see this has been going on for 2 years now... When will the ability to add images to a sorting exercise be added to Rise 360??? Its kind of a given that images would be someting that would be used for a sorting exercise...
Hi there, Nadine. Images in the sorting activity are not on the immediate roadmap. I'm sorry I don't have an update on whether we'll include this ability, but I'll let you know here if that changes.

Adding my voice to this conversation.
If this feature isn't available in Rise, has anyone created a sorting interaction in Storyline that keeps score of correct vs. incorrect answers?
