Just an update - after several uninstalls and reinstalls, I was still having issues. Lianne from Articulate Support was great - she sent me info and it turns out that my multiple monitors were causing the problem. I undocked my laptop, started it up, launched Peek, and voila! Mischief managed. I re-docked the laptop and Peek remained open correctly. So, I will adjust my process when I know I need to use Peek and all should be fine.
