Flipped Image

I have one image in my training that shows on the screen in the design correctly, but when previewing or publishing, it flips the picture upside down. I use this same image in other modules and it works fine. I have even copied the master slide used in the other module to this module and it still flips it. I really need some help. It is showing on slide 2.1 and 3.1.

  • Hi Susan,

I ran into the same issue recently, and my workaround is to first flip the picture vertically and then fill the shape. You will see it upside down in the edit mode, but it's fine when previewed and published. Maybe the Articulate team will fix this at some point.

I re-attached your file with 2.1 and 3.1 modified as said. I hope it helps.

  • Hey Susan,

From the looks of it you may be using the FLIP Vertical option on your shape and then filing it with your picture.  Is that correct?

If so, then you may see some wonky results.  You can rotate a shape and deselect the option "Rotate with Shape" and it will work fine for rotating, but once you flip it, it kind of messes things up a bit.

Ran into the same issue. Appreciate the workarounds. Upvote for a fix from Articulate.

      Hi revarytes,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear you've hit this snag!

We're tracking a bug where images used as shape fill appear flipped when previewed. If you're willing to share your file with our team, I'd be happy to take a look to confirm if this bug is affecting your project. You can upload it here or privately in a support case and we'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
