This seems to have happened to quite a few recently - It seems like reinstalling the desktop app or restarting the computer has helped some people.
The support team also offered these steps to someone else in the community: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/desktop-apps-not-showing-in-articulate-menu
