Hi all I know how to change the default colour in the settings, but can you set a default colour for the font? It seems to be set to grey, and I need to go and change each text block to black.

Hello Articulate Rise - From reading this chain of posts, it appears that fonts are still defaulted to grey. What this means is that I'll have to go through the entire course I'm working on, block by block, to switch the font to black. With accessibility at the forefront of our work, the default should be black (if defaulting is required) and then custom changes would be for those who want to switch to grey. Please work on this issue.

It appears that the global font color has been an issue for several years with Rise. Is there any plan to make it easy to set the color for the entire course to one color?

Dear Articulate 360, Can you please give us an explanation as to why this is taking up to 3 years (and probably more) to sort out this issue? I respect that you wish to leave the default as #313537, but would it be possible to give your customers the option to use any default font colour they want? I understand that you have other processes that are taking priority - but this seems to also be a priority to your customers. Thanks and wish this gets sorted out soon.

It would be nice to be able to change the default font in all areas of Rise. Particularly because research shows that black font is more accessible for those with visual impairments, or vision-related disabilities; and it's my own aim, as well as that of my firm's, to make our content as accessible as possible. I understand why the trend toward gray happened, but there must be other ways to enhance the UX for all learners...and developers? Like adjusting font size, or tighter, more concise writing... And frankly, my own eyes are not that great, so after working in Rise for several hours, I am feeling the eye strain myself!

Hi! I have the same issue. We have a need of branding all our trainings according to our corporate brand. And that includes the font color. The trainings can sometimes be quite long so it`s annoying and it takes us a lot of unnecessary time to do this manually for each text segment. That also goes for background colors to each segment. It would be great to be able to change the default also for that, even though maybe not the game changer the option of changing the default font color would be. I mean, the USP with Rise is that it is easy to use, but this makes it less easy, so it´s actually quite counter productive not to have that option.

I too would like to join the bandwagon on being able to change the default colour in one go - changing every block to black is proving to be taking a toll on my mouse hand (and I have an ergonomic mouse!)

Dear Articulate team, please consider this feature. Tons of us want to be able to set a default text color default in the same way that an Accent default can be set when creating a project. I know that Storyline is the flagship and getting most of the attention, but us Rise users need love too! Manually changing this for every single text block is a time sink.

Seems like a basic requirement - global changes to font and colour settings at any time. If this can be done in Storyline, why not Rise? Would like to see this a feature as soon as possible.

From this thread, it appears that most people would like to be able to control the default text colour along with the font. This has been asked for, for over 2 years now without a change. Even if the default colour was changed from grey to black would help most of us.

I'd like to add my voice to this request. As someone who has just authored 4 courses and has not been consistent at adjusting the text colour to black on every block every time, i now have the fun job of double checking every block, paragraph, image title and question/learning check feedback entry. A very time consuming and not terribly productive way to spend a day.

I'm adding my voice to this request too please, I am in the same situation as Nikki, it is very time consuming and frustrating. Please let us set our own default font or at least make the default font 'true black' as suggested in a previous post, rather than the grey whic can be hard to read.
