Change Link (url) color
Hi Everyone,
To change the color of the hyperlinks in your Rise courses, please use the following method.
- Select the link you have selected along with either the preceding or following space.
- Apply the desired color using the formatting toolbar button as you would any piece of text.
This workaround also does not work for us. Same situation as MattiasJahr. When hovering over a link, the only formatting options are to edit the link or remove the link. I can make the text the standard #0000ff blue and underlined, and as soon as I make it a link, it changes to a variation of a colour from the theme.
We should be able to define individual colours manually, e.g. links, headings. This way, the theme colour can apply to UI elements where accessibility is less of a concern (button background colours, dividers, etc.) but links can remain accessible. Our theme is orange, and it makes the links far too bright and inaccessible when automatically controlled.

Alisdair, can you confirm you're using Edge browser? I'm on Chrome and this workaround does work, I have a feeling its related to Edge, so some users experience the issue. thx

Same happening for me. Trying to make hyperlinks the standard blue then linking and the links are reverting back to the theme colour. Have tried Edge and Chrome, have tried including a space, have tried a new Rise project. This need fixing quickly. I'm doing updates to an existing module and I can't change the theme colour to something that will be accessible as a link colou r(very few of the Rise theme colours provide sufficient contrast for hyperlink text).
