While not specifically a method that uses a button, you can check out this article which explains how to connect multiple published Storyline 360 courses:
You can also check out this article for a more technical solution on how to combine multiple SCOs, although please note that this method is unsupported.
I'll let other members of the community chime in to see if anyone has any Javascript related solutions that they're willing to share!
