bad spacing

when I send courses for review to SMEs I can guarantee that Ill get multiple comments about the spacing between a line and subsequent bullets.

I know that I can use a soft return to make them smaller but then it will force a bullet on the top line and that's not what they want.

That space is frustrating and jarring when reading. I've seen multiple discussions here about spacing that have gone unanswered for over 3 years. That's incredibly disappointing. a simple "we'll add your voice to the request" is just blowing us off at this point.

I saw that but wasn't sure if it was regarding spacing between the separate blocks, or within a single block - Sorry it wasn't helpful to you,

Have you tried amending the "Padding top"  for the bulleted list? it will move the content up.

and then if you change the padding on the bottom of the block above your list, you will end up with a very close connection between the two blocks. Is that what you were looking for?

Just click Edit/Settings on the blocks and test it out :-)  Good luck.

then I re-read your post and it isn't about the space between the blocks but the space between the bullets...right?

if you see the image attached its about the space between any paragraph text and a bullet following.

Many times a heading/subheading isn't appropriate for these. its usually what I resort to when there is a complaint but then I have to change the formatting and the padding.

  • I could do that but I'd rather not have multiple elements to build one simple section of text. A simple addition to the text editor would be great and not a Herculean effort.
